I once went on an adventure with my friends to a deep, spooky forest for summer camp. There were four of us: 1) Me (Ahum), 2) Jack, 3) Aliena, and 4) Harry. It had a smooth and straight road without any holes. We were driving along, enjoying the scenery, when suddenly we heard a strange noise—"zzhzhzh!" The car came to a halt.
I opened the door and closed it again, checking the car. She was in very bad condition, broken. Harry sighed. "Oh no, we're in a deep forest with no network and no way to communicate! By the way, you all agreed to come here for the summer camp." We all pointed at him and said, "You!!!!" Harry did not say a thing. He only exhaled deeply in frustration.
Then, Aliena pointed ahead and said, "Look, everyone, there's a big mansion!" We all turned and saw the mansion in the distance. It was old and dilapidated, looking more like a haunted house than a place to stay. Aliena suggested, "I think we should stay there for the night." Everyone agreed, "Yeah, we think so too."
We approached the mansion. I shouted to the top of my lungs, "HELLO….ANYONE….HERE? HELLOOOOO….". No one answered. "Guys, I think this house is cursed…." nervously declared Aliena. Everyone broke into laughter and asked her why she thought so. Aliena replied, "Just a few days ago I was browsing the net when I chanced upon an article that had for its title 'A Cursed House in the Howard Forest…'".
Before Aliena could continue explaining, we heard a voice say, "Yes!" It was Harry doing a mimic with the voice. We groaned, "Don't do that again."
The person started singing, "No one will be. In just.". Harry apologized, "Sorry, it was my phone's ringtone." We all shook our heads, trying to calm down.
I looked at the clock-it was around 2:20 AM. We decided to sleep in separate rooms. Next morning, the birds began singing. It was daylight. We all woke up, but to our shock, there was no mansion, just grass stretching as far as one's eye could see. But we all remembered the house clearly.
